Who we are
The site owner and database owner is Matan Sharon (Matan Wild Photography), Israel. Contact: matan@matanwildphotography.com, +972 53-743-2878. This policy follows the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 1981, and respects the rights of visitors from the European Union and the United Kingdom under the GDPR.
What we collect
Only what you send us: the name, email address, company, topic and message you enter in the contact form, or what you write to us by email or WhatsApp. You do not have to give us any details, but we cannot reply without a way to reach you.
The site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. To display its typeface it loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address under Google’s own privacy policy. If we add analytics, this policy will be updated first.
How we use it
To reply to you, prepare a proposal, and deliver the work or service you ask for. We send marketing messages only if you have agreed to receive them, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
Who sees it
We do not sell or rent your details. They are shared only with the providers that host the site and handle our email, with partners needed to deliver a service you have asked for, or where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
For as long as needed to handle your enquiry or project, and afterwards only as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Visitors from the EU and UK can also object to processing, ask for a copy in a portable format, and complain to their data protection authority. Write to us at the address above and we will answer within a reasonable time.
Security
We use current, reasonable measures to protect your information, though no system is completely secure.
Accessibility statement
Last updated 2 October 2026
This statement is published under Regulation 35 of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Service) Regulations, 2013. We want everyone to be able to explore this site, read all of its content and get in touch.
What we have done
- Every link, button, form field and photo viewer works with a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus outline.
- A “Skip to contact” link, a clear heading structure and labelled page regions help screen reader users find their way.
- Photographs have text descriptions, and the expedition film has a written description.
- Text colours are chosen for contrast, and text can be enlarged with the browser’s zoom.
- Moving elements can be paused, and when your device asks for reduced motion, animations stop and the film waits for you to press Play.
We aim to meet level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and Israeli Standard 5568. Some parts may still not be fully accessible. If you find one, please tell us, and we will work to fix it within a reasonable time.
Physical access
Our activity on this site is online only. We do not receive visitors at an office.
